The Cajun Canyons Billfish Classic 2010 - Our Sixth Annual Tournament - We're Back at Cypress Cove Marina!
This will be our 6th Annual Cajun Canyons Billfish Classic, June 1—June 6, 2010, the weekend after Memorial Day. Our host facility will be Cypress Cove Marina, now under the sole ownership and management of Rene Cross, along with his son, Rene Paul and long time harbor master Mike Ballay. We will also be utilizing Venice Marina, with our friends Mike and Bill Butler.
Featuring a modified-release format for billfish species, along with BIG prize money for Blue Marlin, Tag or Release, Dolphin, Tuna, and Wahoo, the Cajun Canyons Billfish Classic will attract tournament participants from the entire Gulf Coast and the nation to south Louisiana. The tournament name stems from the world-famous Mississippi Canyon and Green Canyon, home to true, world-class sportfishing. Do not be left out, get your entry in now!
