The coastal waters off Louisiana are the home of many famous fishing grounds, known by many as: West Delta Block, South Pass Block, The Midnight Lump, Green Canyon, along with Mississippi Canyon (named after the river that created it, NOT our neighboring state).

Let’s go FISHING! We are happy to announce the 2013 Cajun Canyons Billfish Classic, located at Cypress Cove Marina & Lodge, will be held May 28—June 2, 2013.

I want to thank our loyal patrons and sponsors for hanging tough with us through the years. Together, let’s make our 2013 tournament the BIGGEST yet—Bring a Friend and tell the Friend to bring a Friend.

The fishing out of Venice is GREAT and we only look for it to get better. Yes, both Venice Marina and Cypress Cove Marina & Lodge are open, sending boats out, and cleaning fish on a daily basis—See you at the dock!
